I was visiting some of my sister’s blogs today looking for encouragement which there is so much from so many wonderful Godly women available and I found the Five-minute Friday blog hop which asks you to link five minutes of free thought writing with no fore thought or going back. I thought I would try participating today so here we go:
Without you Lord I would not even be able to think about writing. In my weakness you are strong. I am so tired of telling people where it hurts and I am tired of hurting. I am tired of being a half a person. Nothing of the strength I once had is left. Exhausted muscles that won’t respond and a spine that I depended on so much has defied me. Yes I am an introvert but I need to have my spirit nourished and I need to corporately worship. That is what I strive for and that is what I hope for. Christ in me, the hope of glory. Yes, I trust you Lord and you are my sufficiency and I appreciate the revelations that you have given me throughout these last very long eight years of constant pain which makes it so hard to comprehend on some days but that is when the Holy Spirit refreshes me and encourages me as I write. I ask you Lord for your mercy and grace and help to lengthen this writing time with you as my guide. Help me to show your heart to those who need you and are needing encouragement. I lift my eyes to the hills from whence my help comes.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face shine upon you and give you His peace.
The strength it takes to write what you wrote comes from your faith. It is truly amazing.
Thanks so much. I enjoyed your writing about singleness. If I’m right didn’t Paul say it’s better to be single. As a married person I can understand that totally because your service and dedication time to the Lord is greatly challenged when you are married. I love your confidence. Blessings!
Paul did say he wished others were singles as he himself. Thank you so much for reading! B@Peace
Hi Charmaine. I just found your blog from my link-up at Five Minute Friday. I loved how you took the five minutes and used it as a written prayer from your heart. This was a wonderful reminder that no matter what our area of need, we are complete in Christ. Blessings to you in your writing. ~De
I really appreciate your encouragement. Many blessings!!
I came over, and I am glad I did. Welcome to this weekly prompt. We are so happy you’re joining us. What a beautiful start for your first participation! I love the stream of consciousness. The rawness. The truth in the pain. Beautifully written.
Thanks so much for dropping by and for your comments. Look forward to reading everyone’s writings.
Your openness and honesty move me greatly, and bless me in this moment. Thank you for the sharing of your soul.
Glad you were blessed. May God watch over you and protect you.
