From Isaiah 61:3 “They will be called oaks of righteousness , a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.”
Several years back a friend of mine gave me this display plate. It was at a rather difficult time in my life and it meant a lot to me. I would look at it every morning as I left for work. Sure, it’s just a plate but I had it placed right by my door and it would just remind me of whose I am and the words just gave me strength and encouragement for the day. These words have always been beautiful to me. Just remember–you are for the display of His splendor. I hope this encourages you.

That is absolutely beautiful and thank you for the encouragement. It never ceases to amaze me that our Father cares for us so much, that when He sees us hurting and in pain, He sends someone/something to us to help ease that pain. What a true blessing…:O)
Hugs,
Lisa

Thank you so much for the information… I just recently joined a group of Ladies for Tuesday night Study Group… The group is call “Oaks of Righteousness”… Looking for my Bible study leaders name on face book, I could not locate, but I found you through the name of the group…
Just wanting more details as I am not righteous… Isaiah 61:3 Wow!!! She did explain to me spiritually filled… I just didn’t understand… As I was stuck on the word “righteous”… We are on display for His Splendor… Also, thank you so much for the encouraging words, “Our life is not determined by our circumstances but by Whom to we belong.” Thanks again… and God Bless
