The Son can Nourish us

I’ve been enjoying the few plants I have planted this year.  This morning when I went outside with my dog (he has to play ball every morning) I saw these beautiful blooms on my squash and cucumber plants.  Such a beautiful yellow.  It’s so much fun to watch the blooms turn into fruits/and or vegetables day by day and almost moment by moment.  The sun is getting hotter everyday and I’m beginning to worry about keeping everything nourished with enough water.  I get a little anxious about something happening to these plants cause I have watched them from seeds to blooms to begginning to produce.  As I said before, this gardening has re-nourished my relationship with the Lord.  Just as these plants need the “sun” and water to grow we need the “Son” and His living water to grow.  I realized that I have been ” wilted”  for these last couple years.  The Son and water is always there for me to be nourished but it’s my responsibility to partake.

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water.  John 7:38

Lord, may this word become evident in my life.  Amen
